日本において、屋外サウナはバレルサウナが主流となっています。そんな中、当社のサウナは金属とウェスタンレッドシダーが調和した、これまでに例を見ないモダンなデザインでこの度日本初上陸となります。サウナ室内の熱を逃してしまうため、ガラスはサウナの天敵とも言われていますが、当社の屋外サウナには強化ガラスが採用されています。ガラスであることで、眺望を楽しみにながらサウナに入れるだけではなく、デザイン性の高い屋外サウナとなっています。
屋根・壁・床の断熱材による耐熱性
当社のサウナには、外壁の金属と内装の木材の間に厚さ７cmのEPSフォーム断熱材が使用されています。この設計により、カナダの極寒の環境にも耐えられる高い断熱性を実現しています。さらに、このEPSフォームは優れた保温効果をもち、エネルギー効率を向上させ、寒冷地でも快適な屋外サウナを提供します。
ウェスタンレッドシダーが誇る耐久性
ウェスタンレッドシダーは屋外環境において高い耐久性を備え、長期間（15〜20年）経ってもほとんど腐敗しない特徴を持っています。木材にはツヤプリしんという化学物質が含まれており、天然の抗カビ剤として機能し、カビの発生を防止してくれます。また、レッドシダーはサウナ室内の高温環境にも耐えられ、木材の膨張や収縮が少ない上に、肌が触れても熱を感じにくいという安全性も兼ね供えています。品質のブレが少ないため、質の低い木材に当たる可能性に低いのもレッドシダーの利点です。

SDGsへの取り組みとして、ウェスタンレッドシダーの伐採には、1本あたり少なくとも3本の苗が伐採後に植えられているため、森林の再生に大いに貢献しています。
この取り組みによって1970年以降、北アメリカの森林面積は20％増加しており、これは林業関係者が数十年にわたり慎重に森林再生を行なってきた成果として、環境保護と自然への重要な取り組みとして評価されています。
